Normally at Sharewatch we do not look at shares trading below a penny. However, in the case of Dowgate (DGT; 0.73p) typical spread 0.68p-0.78p), its days as a penny share appear numbered and we wouldn't be surprised to see management put forward a resolution to consolidate the shares, possibly on a 100-for-one basis, at the next AGM in April. That would reduce the number of shares down dramatically from the 1.1 billion that exist presently and would help change the perception of the business.
