Deli-restaurant combo Carluccio’s (CARL; 192p ) has been a remarkable performer since its flotation just over a year ago, with a near doubling of its share price. But there is by no means any sign that the rise is over. Founded by the eponymous Carluccio husband and wife team, most of the current management bought into the business in 1999 having previously held similar positions at My Kinda Town, which they sold to Capital Radio. Back then the concept was embryonic and it has since been refined, with the company now having 28 units under its belt.
