The shares fell 25p following the tragedy in the southern Polish city of Katowice where a roof collapsed at Expomedia’s exhibition centre after a week of heavy snowfall, killing 67. Expomedia owns 51% of the centre with other shareholders including the City of Katowice and the Polish State Treasury. It is not certain how many of this year’s exhibitions will be relocated and meanwhile the company is assessing its insurance.
