Once again a very strong end to 2005 with like-for-like sales up 3.6% in the final six weeks despite the strong comparables of last year. During the year, 50 new stores opened which has taken the total to 407. That is ahead of most expectations in the marketplace and as a result, forecasts are upgraded. Altium has upgraded from £10.5m to £11m for eps of 15.5p. This year’s forecast is upgraded to £13.5m and 18.9p respectively, although the World Cup in June could provide a useful bonus.
