The company was effectively established in 1999 when current chief executive Mark Hales took over a family business operating just one branch based in Birmingham with sales of £250,000. That has grown to 15 branches last year with annualised sales of over £12m. Claimar provides care for people in their own homes, particularly the elderly or those with a physical disability, as an alternative to the more drastic option of a residential care home.
