Disappointing news from Parkwood, which has reported that it now expects to report a pretax profit of £0.65m for the year to 31 December. The majority of the shortfall is within its managed services side, Glendale (number three player in managing parks for local authorities), where full year results have been held back by a combination of factors. This includes certain new contracts delivering lower than expected revenues at a time when Glendale has put in place a higher cost base to support those expected revenues.
