CSS Stellar - Could be attractive post-results

The expected disposal of ARB was accompanied with news that CSS continued to experience difficult trading conditions during the second half of 2003. Consequently, and after allowing for the weak dollar, CSS expects to report operating profits of £2.4m for the year to 31 December. The disposal of the lossmaking audio visual equipment hire businesses, ARB, completed in December for a nominal £1. In the first eleven months of 2003, ARB lost £0.75m on sales of £2.25m. The disposal leaves CSS focused on three areas; talent management and sponsorship consultancy, are the biggest two and there also remains a third much smaller leg comprising its television and remaining events activities. ...
