Another software company to indicate the first stirrings of a recovery. Financial Objects has issued a statement which said that despite tough market conditions, trading remains broadly in line with market expectations. For the 12 months to 31 December, salesare expected to come in below current forecasts, although the lossbefore tax, goodwill  and exceptional items, is likely to belower than expected. Reflecting this, broker, ABN Amro, has shadedrevenue expectations for 2002 from £13.6m to £12.8m. Pretax loss isnow expected to come in at £1m.   Recent restructuring, ata cost of £0.9m (representing the exceptional item) is  completeand should produce annual savings of £2.5m.
