Domino, which owns the master retail franchise for the UK and Ireland, has announced that sales in the fourth quarter were materiallybetter than those achieved in the same quarter the previous year. Salesfor 2001 as a whole were also substantially ahead. Like-for-like sales were 22.1% in the fourth quarter compared to 8.2% in the same quarter ayear earlier. Average weekly sales were £10,335 compared to £8,390 in 2000.
