Warpaint has once again said trading is ahead of market expectations. Sales for the year ending December are now expected to be at least £85m, up from £64m last year with “significant growth” in all geographies, whilst gross product margin is reported as robust, and expected to be above that achieved in FY22 (36.4%). The low cost of its items clearly resonates well with consumers although some of this growth is also “pipe fill” as it expands with new retailers and increases representation across existing ones eg. in November it included a range of W7 products in 400 Etos stores in the Netherlands and 100 AS Watsons health and beauty stores in the Philippines, together with a range of Technic products being launched in over 200 ...
