Supreme - Upgrades expectations by £4m (3rd upgrade)

A barnstorming set of interims with yet another significant upgrade. Having already seen EBITDA upgraded by c.£4m (see October issue), Supreme now expects to beat even that upgraded expectation by £4-5m with an expected outcome of between £32-35m. As it was, sales increased by 63% to c.£105m, with the Elf  and Lost Mary distribution deal driving two thirds of the outperformance (incremental sales of £26.4m) and the other third (£13.6m) from its historical activities. Pretax profit increased 103% to £11.8m and eps by 80% to 8.1p. The interim dividend increased by 88% to 1.5p. As well as being hugely profitable and beating expectations, Sandy Chadha expects Elf to now make £7m profit versus £2m at the time of the deal. Not on ...
