The last few years have seen Scapa transform from an industrial tapes business to one where more of its money is made in the healthcare sector where it is now a world leading strategic turn-key partner.But the latest year is proving to be a bit of a stub year because the Healthcare side has entered into three technology transfers of the R&D and manufacturing assets in the last 12 months and this investment is penalising short run earnings. As it was, revenue decreased 3% to £140.7m and profit before tax is down to £9.7m for flat eps of 8.3p.
