Full year results came in slightly ahead but are really of academic interest (adjusted EBITDA was £8.0m, down from £17.6m in the prior year) given the console cycle has only just moved into launch phase (an event that takes place every 6 years) and this has totally changed the market dynamics going forward.The results show that supply of Nintendo Switch improved in H2 and Xbox One X launched post the period end and these are driving software sales.Of course, the excitement is that the company is also rolling out its Belong in-store "esports arenas" where players pay by the hour and participate in tournaments with extra sales generated from food and drink.
