Nanoco’s share price has unfortunately continued to wane with a lacklustre set of results – sales for the year to 31 July were just £2m with a pretax loss of £10.8m. Net cash at the year end was £24.2m after the last fundraise at 105p. But on the face it does not seem that all is lost given that Nanoco is nearing its goal of commercialising its technology in the LCD display industry through the worldwide licensing agreement with Dow.Dow’s plant being built at Chenoan, South Korea, should have opened in September but will now open this month.
