Where were the opportunities for investors in 2015? Amongst which asset classes? If you believe the headlines, it was not midst the ruins of a China in transition, nor the imploding eurozone. It might have been in the US, still leading the world out of the Great Recession. It can’t have been Japan, as it has just re-entered recession at the tail end of a 25 year bear market. And smaller companies are still struggling because the banking sector has long since pulled down the shutters, so they say.It could be the UK because if the US has been doing OK, the headlines suggest the UK might have done even better.Well perhaps we should just ignore the headlines, at least in so far as they inform your investment decisions. ...
