Dart Group - Shares go over 500p

Shares in Dart took off as it released its superb H1 results. Sales were up 14% to £1bn, adjusted pretax profit was up 66% to £146.8m and underlying eps increased 63% to 80.2p. Given that Dart had started the year off with full year pretax profit forecasts standing at £52m, this result is some beat!Of course, the business has seasonality as it tends to lose money in H2, which will this year include new investment coming in its expanding Leisure Travel business as it invests in new aircraft, advertising and people in readiness for the summer 16 season.
