During the month, GB Group announced the acquisition of TMG for £2.25m cash with a further £0.75m based on future performance. TMG is a Criminal Records Bureau umbrella organisation and carries out 0.17m CRB disclosure checks each year. Speaking to the company, they expect great things from TMG as all six such providers have recently been mandated to provide checking online. A new area of growth will also come from making current convictions available for checking by potential employers/recruiters.  GB also reported its H1 results to end September with sales up 44% to £17.7m reflecting a full six-months from prior year acquisitions.
