With unemployment hitting a new high of 2.62m this month, its highest level since 1996, it's pleasing to see Staffline report that following the award of two contracts, its subsidiary, EOS, has expanded its existing footprint from Birmingham, Solihull and the Black Country into the West Midlands and Yorkshire & Humberside. The new contracts, awarded by the Department for Work and Pensions, should generate additional revenue of £53m over a three year period but as with earlier ones will see most of the profits coming in years two and three.
