Silverdell - Contractor on nuclear decomissoning framework

It all seems to be shaping up well for Silverdell whose ambition is to grow sales to £100m within two years. This month it announced it has been included on a framework for decommissioning 10 nuclear reactor sites in the UK. The contract, which is for demolition and bulk removal of asbestos, is being let by the tier one contractors Magnox and EDS and is worth c.£20m to Silverdell.Silverdell has also reported its full year results, which showed pretax profit up 25% to £3m (eps 1.4p) on sales of £59.7m.
