Video search company Blinkx (BLNX; 75p) has certainly not been idle since joining AIM four years ago. The business started out trying to develop its own technology but subsequently licenced its technology from Autonomy, which has really enabled business to take off helped by a powerful shift in advertising from the traditional base of newspapers and television to online channels.Under its exclusive five year deal (which ends in 2012) Blinkx has licenced Autonomyâ€™s technology for searching internet television, video clips and other online entertainment, which it applies to its search engine Blinkx.com.
