West China has announced that the conveyor belt to the Ankang cement plant is now operational. The plant began operations last December and the new conveyor will improve the transport of limestone into the works, which was previously brought in by truck. The new conveyor will reduce ongoing operating costs and enable it to run at full capacity. West China also said its newer plants at Hangzhong were ahead of scheduled opening (one comes on stream in Q1 and the second in Q3). Plans for the Hong Kong IPO are progressing and will take place in H1 next year. Keep on buy list. ...
