Telecom Plus - Shares close to 52 week high

Since our main write up in March, Telecom Plus has been one of those shares to remain close to highs on the back of households focusing on reducing their utility bills and encouragingly, the company has reported strong results for the six months to 30 September, with pretax profit up 55% to Â£9.8m on revenues up 25% to Â£88.9m. Earnings went up 64% to 10.8p.Net cash at the period end was Â£28.9m, slightly lower than this time last year having paid a Â£6.6m dividend in August and after spending Â£9m on a new office to accommodate the rapid organic growth in new customers and distributors (pressures in the employment market led to an increase in distributor numbers of 18% during FY08).
