Tradeshow owner Tarsus is one of those businesses that Warren Buffet would probably love given he often likes to describe the companies he invests in as "economic castles protected by unbreachable moats." As he says, in days of old, a castle was protected by the moat that circled it. The wider the moat, the more easily a castle could be defended, as it made it very difficult for enemies to approach. In the case of this month's main recommendation of business-to-business tradeshow organiser Tarsus, its wide moats are the brand names of its shows such as the Dubai Air Show, Labelexpo and Anti-Ageing Medicine.
