Land of Leather is a fast growing leather furniture retailer which was established eight years ago but has recently accelerated its opening programme with 33 new stores or 40% to its total trading space being added in the last 20 months. Now operating 86 stores, the self-fashioned 'out and out value' retailer looks to be still only half its potential size and has a number of distinguishing features, notably that it sources almost 70% of its leather suites from China and most of the rest from other parts of the Far East.
