BATM - Wins biggest contract in entire history

The shares rocketed to a new high after BATM issued an upbeat trading statement and announced that it had become the successful bidder for a major long-term supply contract with a leading telecoms supplier (believed to be Nokia). The contract is to supply telecom grade equipment which enables massive capacity of switching and routing. The equipment can handle voice, video and data channels at a very high speed of 10Gbps simultaneously BATM said the contract is “potentially, by far, the largest in the history of the company.” The pilot, utilising BATM's equipment, is expected to run during 2006-2007, with full scale deployment starting in 2008.
