Xaar is a manufacturer of inkjet components but don't go looking for its technology in your deskjet printer. That was where the business started 31 years ago but in recent years it has concentrated on supplying printheads for industrial printers - by 2022 the last of the desktop patents expire and the dribble of royalties cease so it will be entirely focused on commercial printheads.  During the month I met chief executive Dr John Mills and finance director Ian Tichias.
