Anexo - VW car emissions cheating could settle as early as Q4 and be worth "tens of millions"

2019 results to 31 December are obviously pre-COVID. As it was, sales were up 39% to £78.5m with pretax profit up 57% to £22.4m. Eps were 17p, up from 12p. Credit Hire revenues increased 41% to £48m with profit up 64% to £17.9m helped by an average increase in fleet although by the year end, the fleet had fallen by 200 to 1,308 (motorcycles are the biggest proportion at c 950). Legal Services (Bond Turner) revenue was up 36% to £30.5m with a flattish profit of £5.9m, despite the high investment in expanding the Bolton office and the legal staff and senior fee earners (+68%).
