The housebuilding sector has been under the cosh post Brexit  (as market participants price in lower prices and a volume drop) although as a sector housebuilding hasn’t been in a normal cycle since 2008. Share prices in the sector are down but this is not a systemic banking problem; interest rates aren’t high and aren’t about to rise anytime soon; borrowing levels are much lower than in previous recessions and the banks are lending and so on.
