After promising so much early on, Parity has thrown in the towel on its digital acquisition strategy after ceding that as a small AIM-listed PLC it was unable to raise sufficient equity for deals. Endings also herald beginnings.The core IT contractor Parity Professionals remains healthy and well (£84.5m sales; £2.5m profit last year) and under a revised group structure, the Solutions arm, which provides consultancy and implementation of IT processes, is being folded into it. The small remaining digital technology division, SuperCommunications, will now mainly comprise Inition into which the Golden Square post production business is folded.
