Talks to acquire Alliance Films, the leading Canadian film distributor, which would require an associated fundraising, are ongoing. Meanwhile, ETO has reported that Q1 has started well with revenues ahead by 18% (16% constant currency). This has been driven mainly by the television side, which delivered 67 half hours of programming and Q1 revenues are ahead by 200%. There are now six series airing on prime time television, lots are going into second and third series whilst international sales also continue to grow. Peppa Pig continues to see strong ratings in the US and new deals have also been signed with broadcasters in Italy, Spain, New Zealand and South Africa.
