Baltic has issued its results for the year ended 31 December 2011 - belatedly as you would expect after the travails of last year when the Russian partners attempted to misappropriate its key assets in Kaliningrad. As it was, for 2011, sales went from Â£6m to Â£15.6m and profit after tax more than doubled from Â£2.4m to Â£4.7m reflecting a maiden contribution from Petrobroker, which operates fuel oil tanks in Europort Rotterdam. The Dan Balt subsidiary acquired in November did not contribute materially. Net debt was Â£5.2m.Outside Russia, as planned Dan Balt's existing storage contracts are being run-out and will be replaced by transshipment work by the end of the year, driving fees higher.
