Fisher has issued a positive trading update. H1 results are stated to be modestly ahead of management expectations. Fisher seems to be making good progress all round. Tradingconditions in the Offshore Oil and Specialist Technical Divisionsremain generally favourable. Since our last update, Fisher has alsocompleted the bolt-on acquisition of Buchan for Â£4.9m. Buchan suppliesa range of technical equipment (pumps, power packs and reels) andincreases the range of products supplied by Fisher's offshore division.There has also been good progress on the Tankship side.
