As foreshadowed last month, XL has formed a third company, DxTech. DxTech is developing a fully-automated point-of-care device for blood testing. This technology requires just a small drop of a single reagent (making it low cost) within a disposable cartridge. It is a fully automated point-of-care device which will allow doctors to carry out an array of tests and has the potential to replace all essential biological tests currently performed at reference laboratories. Having soared since last month?s recommendation, the market was unmoved on this news.
