Investors have understandably become so cautious about anything to do with telecoms and the internet that they run the risk of missing the investment potential at BATM (BVC;22p) as its investment in VoIP technology begins to pay off. The shares nosedived following the peak of the dotcom excitement, having at one point been over ?7 a share. But this time even though real profitability is fast approaching the shares remain in the doldrums. Turnover which has been in decline since 2002, has already showed an uptick in 2004, lifting 11% to US$41.2m and a loss down from US$11m to US$2m. This year could see a small profit and some analysts think that sales will be US$51m rising to US$61m in 2006 which on an enterprise value to sales rat ...
