Wilmington has issued a pre-close statement for the year ended 30 June, reporting a year of both record turnover and increased profits. Both business information and the professional training divisions have shown increased turnover and profits.  Professional training meanwhile has seen strong growth from the core CPD programme for lawyers. Elsewhere, despite the cost cuts, the magazine division has seen a lower than expected performance because of weak advertising in most markets. Wilmington expects to incur one off costs of £0.5m in order to reorganise the division.  Results are due the week commencing 13 September 2004. Keep on buy list. ...
