BTG has filed a lawsuit against computer giants, Microsoft and Apple, alleging that the Web-enabled software update used in the Windows and Mac OS operating systems respectively infringes on a patent it holds. The suit also alleges infringement in Microsoft's Office products. The patent covers a "method and system for distributing updates by presenting a directory of software available for user installation." BTG is seeking unspecified damages. At the AGM, BTG also reechoed what we said last month when it said it was on track to submit a formal response to the clinical hold to the FDA in November; we anticipate a share price rise in advance of that. ...
