"We’ve priced in perfection" said one analyst this week.  The wide range of statistics being announced in the last week of July were going to be vital in justifying the rally in major stockmarkets since the March lows.  It is fair to say that the different stats either indicated no signs of recovery, or insufficient recovery.  None indicated that key economies were either still heading dangerously lower, or were recovering strongly.Will this be enough to sustain key markets at current levels, FTSE-100 above 4,000 and Dow Jones above 9,000?  The sharp stockmarket recovery in the Spring, discounting a reasonable economic recovery, was in sharp contrast to the very low yields achieved in Government bond m ...
