Tracsis - Buys New York based RailComm

Tracsis has expanded its rail software footprint with the acquisition of New York based RailComm, which provides mission critical automation and control solutions to the rail sector. In 2021, RailComm lost £0.2m on sales of £4.6m (of which £1.9m is recurring software revenue). Tracsis has paid £8.8m and a further £2.1m is based on future performance. RailComm brings into the fold two core products of rail yard automation and computer aided dispatching, which help to reduce costs, increase safety, and improve operational efficiency for rail passenger/freight operators but more importantly the acquisition gives Tracsis direct access to a long-established sales network in the North America market, into which it can cross sell its existing p ...
