EMIS has never looked stronger and I think the shares are set for a significant lurch north with FY21 showing sales lifting off a two year plateau to rise 6% to £168.2m. Pretax profit was ahead 11% to £43.8m and eps +10% to 56.1p. With recurring revenues rising 4% to £134.8m despite some wage inflation,  ebitda margins widened to a mesmerising 25.9%. The Health side is used by over half of English GPs to run their patient records and had flat sales at £107.9m but this masks the fact that last year had seen a c£6m once off boost of laptop sales as GPs enhanced their capability for home working and that “hole” has been filled with further software sales and consequently operating profit was up £1.3m to £26.3m before central costs. < ...
