Alfa’s software is typically used to arrange new car Hire Purchase (HP) finance and to then track the fixed monthly payments. The software Alfa sells is complex and often requires bespoke integration so Alfa is seen as a hybrid between an enterprise software seller and a high-end consultancy and the financial model was historically a once-off licensing fee and a 20% annual maintenance charge and whilst it still does that, in the last couple of years it also launched an out of the box solution, Alfastart, to target smaller lessors with this preconfigured product, sold as a bundled monthly licence and hosted product.
