Warpaint -Notes from meeting with Finance Director

Warpaint is scheduled to release its results on 10 May. These maiden results will have pulled together 15 businesses, which had been operated by the two founders, into five and so have taken a little longer to compile.During the month I met with finance director Neil Rodol. With the company in a close period, I didn’t touch on the financials but he described the plans to grow the business and I still think it could become massive and highly profitable. To recap, Warpaint has two parts. The legacy one and smaller of the two is Treasured Scents (£5.4m out of £26.5m expected FY16 sales), which is its ‘close out’ business and buys excess cosmetic stock, which may arise from pack changes, over runs etc and ...
