Victoria - Eps forecasts upgraded to 80.1p and 105.5p

Victoria shot to an all time high after saying that pretax profit before exceptionals for the year ending 2 April will be “materially ahead” of consensus. Operational synergies are running ahead of expectation and will lead to higher gross margins whilst Victoria also expects to report a material reduction in debt. Separately, following a leak in a Belgian paper, Victoria has confirmed it is in talks to acquire Lano, a European carpet manufacturer.In the light of the statement, Cantor Fitzgerald has upgraded to eps of 80.1p for the year about to end and 105.5p next.
