Kalibrate is a supplier of price optimisation software that is used by fuel retailers to become more flexible with pricing, promotions and forecasting. The key product is PriceNet, which enables a petrol company to estimate how a change in price might impact on consumer demand.  PriceNet has traditionally been sold on a licence fee but there has been a preference by the oil firms to buy the software as a service (a trend that can be expected to continue). This means that instead of a lumpy licence being recognised, Kalibrate instead recognises income monthly during the life of the contract.
