Having reported like-for-like sales up 2.8% over Christmas, Majestic said that trading since then had been more challenging with flat FY14 like-for-likes against broker expectations of +1.7%. It also said that next year it intends to move to a larger distribution facility and new Head Office to support the growth of the business from 206 stores toward its 330 target and this will result in a cross-over period when it will have dual running costs while it moves from one unit to another.Investec has shaded its eps forecast to 27p for the year ending this month (April), with 27.8p and 29.8p over the following two. This is a rare setback for Majestic, which could prove a good buy opportunity in a year or so. Buy the dip. ...
