Statpro - New technology having a pincer effect on profits

Sales for 2012 were broadly flat at £32m (up 4% constant currency) and where they have plateaued for the last two years. The year saw increased investment in the new Statpro Revolution product and this continued to be a dampener on profits with adjusted profits coming in at £5m for eps of 5.9p. Until two years ago StatPro sold its software under a “licence model,” which required a large capital outlay and needed an in-house IT department to manage.
