Advanced Computer Software - Buys Computer Software for Â£110m

In a somewhat quirky move, healthcare software supremo ASW has acquired Computer Software Holdings (CSH) for £110m. CSH is a business well known to chief executive Vin Murria as she previously built up CSH in the quoted arena before taking it private in May’07 for £91m, merging it with IRIS Software in July 07 and then selling it to Hellman Friedman for £500m. HG Capital is now selling it back to her, but keeping IRIS. The bits being bought supply accounting, back office, and document management systems to the UK legal sector and also CRM software for the charity sector.
