The month saw Tarsus report good full year results, a placing and an acquisition. The purchase of Turkish exhibition organiser Lifemedia Fuarcilik is a significant step towards its “50/13” strategy as it takes emerging market exposure to 43%. Established in 1997, Lifemedia has a leading position in Turkey's housewares and gifts exhibition sector with two annual exhibitions: a large established event called Zuchex covering 41,600 sq m held in September and Ideal Home Fair, the smaller event covering 18,400 sq m, held in April.
