Tarsus headlined its full year results with the strapline "Improving economic environment accelerates growth.†In particular, it says that forward bookings from exhibitors are standing at a record high, implying that the industry is finally on a recovering trend. Exhibitors like to book space well in advance and for the year, 63% of forecast revenues are already in the bag compared to 58% this time last year.2010 was an off-year for the large biennial events which is why Tarsus provides a more helpful comparison with 2008. Overall sales were up by 3% to £43.6m with an adjusted pretax profit of £9.5m. Adjusted eps were 10.4p whilst debt was lower than forecast at £28.6m.
