AssetCo has made the complementary bolt-on acquisition of RIG, a specialist technical safety and rescue training consultancy, which will be absorbed into AssetCo's resource business, which trains specialist staff in the emergency sector. RIG was founded in 2000 by Royal Marine officers to apply military training techniques to frontline fire fighters and the police and in the year to 31 May, it is expected to report a profit of £0.24m.
