Oil companies seeking to search out oil reserves is also driving Sondex which has issued a pre-close trading update. For the year to 28 February, despite the impact of a weakening dollar, Sondex expects revenues of £31m, up from £17m last year, together with sustained margins. These numbers will include a contribution from Geolink which was acquired in June. At the same time, it reported that it has signed a lease for an additional assembly facility in Yately, Hampshire which will increase production for its wireline business.
